Happy Leap Day

Hello readers, you and you, yes you there
I've got some bad news, I just started uni today. Well it's not really bad news, but I feel like it is especially now that I can't post as often as I was in the past 2 months.

Good news though, I was this month's style panelist as well as guest blogger at whatshouldiwear.com.au
It was a great experience and I loved every minute of it!
check out my blog piece about the autumn/winter wardrobe essentials and where to buy them HERE

Screen capture for a sneak peek, don't forget to check it out on the site and see the whole thing! I would love to know what you think and hear some feedback

Also, I just got back from Sydney last night, I was only there for 2 days but I had such a good time. You can see all my photos on instagram if you have one (I just bought my iphone and got instagram 4 days ago and now I'm hooked!)
follow me if you have one, my username is sevanm
if not, you can always see the photos on twitter

Hope you have a great Leap Day, happy Feb 29th!

Patchuli

Thanks to Michelle's Style File and Melissa Australia, I got my new (and first) pair of Melissa's last week! They are absolutely gorgeous and I've had my eyes on this particular one for a while now and I'm extremely happy they now belong in my shoe collection.

Torquay and Geelong

Day 3 of my trip. There was not much to do in Torquay since the weather was really crappy, unfortunately, so we decided to drive to Geelong since I've never been there before. I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful, busy and city-like it was!

Anglesea & Torquay

This is the second post of my trip to torquay last week; we went to anglesea for a an hour before we got back.
wish the weather was hotter though so we could go in the beach (like today! it's 35 degrees)

Torquay

A few days ago I went to Torquay with one of my close friends for her birthday, but unfortunately the weather did not permit us to go swimming or even tanning at the beautiful Torquay beach.
we did however end up having a great time!

Shoe-obsessed

To say that I've become a shoe-oholic is a big understatement. I went a little crazy with buying shoes when I was in Dubai especially because the annual shopping festival was on, which meant great bargains and more purchases!
These are what I purchased in the last 6 weeks:

My favourite purchase though was definitely my first pair of Brian Atwoods. These gold maniac pumps are, without a doubt, my favourite pair in my shoe collection.

Photo Diary: Dubai

Here are a few photos I took on my recent trip to Dubai/Sharjah. Even though I was born and raised there, everytime I go there I feel like a tourist (and I sure as hell take photos like I am one)
I appologize for the poor quality of some of the photos but I only had my point-and-shoot on me at the time.

Hope you like it! xx

Outfit Post: Dubai Mall

Dubai Mall is definitely one of my favourite malls that I've been to. It certainly helps that it's one of the largest malls in the world with all my favourite stores. It's located right infront of burj khalifa, which is the tallest building at the moment, and hosts the largest and tallest musical fountain in the world.

In flight

Now that I'm back, I thought I'd share some photos I took on my trip to dubai and syria and show you snaps of what I wore.
Images taken at the airport's emirates business lounge and birds eye view of Kuala Lampur, which was a stopover.
Photos of my outfits to Dubai and Syria, and birds eye view of Sharjah from the airplane.

Outfit Post: childhood memories

These photos mean a lot to me because the location of these photos, where you see the new children's playground being built, used to be my very own playground when I was a youngster. Except, back then this used to be a park where my mother used to bring my younger brother and I after I had finished all my homework.

I just landed back in Melbourne a few hours ago and I am already homesick! Hopefully the weather gets better here and I'll get distracted by the beach and other summery activities before uni starts up again.
