outfit post: cupcakes and prints

I am nearly done with my degree, and we have been organizing a graduate show for interior design and industrial design students exhibiting some of our works to show relatives, friends and potential contacts in the industry. The exhibition called " Untapped" is being held the first week of December but since we are hiring an exhibition space outside campus, and printing banners and catalogs, as well as catering and alcohol for opening night, we didn't have enough money from sponsors to cover all this.
So I suggested to have a bake-sale and raise some money ourselves.
And the easiest things to sell at a fundraiser are cupcakes!

It was a hot spring day yet very very windy so I decided to play it safe and wear stalkings just in case it got cooler.
I bought these red shorts at GAP in Canada this june (cannot remember if it was in toronto or ottawa) but they were on sale so I bought 2 pairs: red and beige, and i absolutely love them!
I also bought this top on my trip overseas, in LA to be specific, and it's from BCBGeneration which is one my all time favourite stores and I can't tell you how annoying it is that they don't have international shipping or any stores in Australia.

I also love this scarf my mom bought me the other day from JayJays. I just love the print and the combination of colours with the leopard print.

Henrik Vibskov is a Danish designer who studied in Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London.
His designs are very avant-garde, colourful and playful with a touch of Scandinavian sarcastic humour. He keeps himself occupied touring the world as the drummer for electronic musician Trentemøller, and exhibiting at art museums and galleries around the world.

I simply love his designs and find each piece to be a work of art. I’m especially a fan of his scarves, which have amazing and unique prints and patterns on them.

These are a few of my favourites:

Outfit post: Daytrip to Lorne

A couple of weeks ago a friend of mine drove us to the Lorne, which is about 3 hours away from where I live. It's a BEAUTIFUL place and I especially loved the Sheoak Falls we went to visit.

What the water gave me

This is a beautiful Florence + The Machine song called "what the water gave me" which I first heard on The Secret Circle's s01e05
Besides her amazing voice, the song is about Virginia Woolf and the lyrics are just amazing.
