London travel diary: Primrose Hill

While I’m summing up my trip to Europe, I thought I would start sharing travel diaries from each place. If you follow me on Instagram you would know that first up is London! These images are taken at Primrose hill where we walked around the park, went up the hill to see the great view of central London then went into a cafĂ© in the neighbourhood that not only had great cupcakes and coffee, but a really cute set up (you can see how colourful the tables are) You can also notice my amazing nail art that I had done the first day I was in London but you can see them much clearer on Instagram.

Then the last image is at the gorgeous, and one and only, Hyde park with the stunning peonies that I couldn’t help but take a million photos of them until I saw a bee and finally started walking away…

New gold jewellery

Lately I've added a few gold numbers to my extensive jewellery collection that I thought I'd share with you. I've bought these mainly from shops like forever 21 and sportsgirl. How cute is the tiny smiley face necklace?

How to wear white dresses in winter

If you’re anything like me, you would be loving the white trend lately. Whether it’s a summery casual white dress, a party dress, or a gorgeous designer cocktail dress, there is something so classy, fresh and sophisticated about a white dress. And ofcourse the fact that it’s white means it goes with absolutely any colour, which is great for accessorizing and picking handbags and shoes. In winter though, it can be quite difficult to wear a white dress when it’s freezing out! I found a few ways around this; to keep warm but also not jeopardize the style you want to convey with a white dress. Here are a few photos demonstrating key ways of wearing a white dress in winter:

White dress + jacket

A jacket is the simplest solution ofcourse, but the choice of jacket is key. Pick a denim or leather jacket for a cool vibe or if you want to keep your look casual. If you want to achieve a dressier look, opt for a jacket with a print perhaps; a white dress is the perfect blank canvas to introduce a print or even a pop of colour to the mix.

White dress + coat

For those days that are just way too cold, go for an oversized jacket for a casual look and a gorgeous coat if you’re in a dressy mood.

White dress + accessories

If the dress happens to have a long sleeve, or the jacket isn’t enough, you can always stay warm by wearing stockings and high boots. Add a scarf as well if needed!

My picks for white dresses would be:

Personal style from way back

In the previous post I talked about denim’s comeback which got me thinking about the 90s and 90s fashion, in particular. We all have the shameful 90s photos which are hilarious yet embarrassing at the same time. Since I am a 90s child, I thought it would be fun and different to share some photos of ‘outfit posts’, from the early 90s, pre-blog days, when I was between the ages of 2 and 5 (no one is seeing my photos from the late 90s!)

PS. I’m in London right now so follow up on all the action live from my Instagram account (@7autumnleaves) and posts to come soon!

Wearing my denim jacket on my first trip to Sydney

Raiding my mom's closet and making a dress out of her robe. Fashion obsession started early on, I would say.

Holiday attires: Birthday, Easter and Christmas.

Another easter where I'm pretty sure I invented perfected the duck face pout at the tender age of two.
