Baroque LBD

I'm sure you already know, that a girl can never have enough LBDs. A little black dress can always be your safe net, your best friend even, when you just don't have enough time to put an outfit together. It's stylish, versatile and elegant which are very important qualities for a wardrobe staple.
This particular LBD was bought from one of my many trips to Zara when I was still in Dubai a few weeks ago. The subtle baroque detailing completely won me over, as I am a sucker for clever details and I've always been a fan of baroque patterns. I chose to style it with a simple pony tail, rose gold jewellery and finish it off with dark red lipstick.

Shihabi's in 7AL part 2

You might remember, in a previous post, seeing the gorgeous Afaf wearing Seven Autumn Leaves pieces with DIFC as the backdrop which really represented Dubai with it's modern feel. In the second part of this shoot, I'm sharing photos of one of my best friends, Hadier, who looked absolutely amazing in the Crown Jewel necklace and her black and white designer ensemble.

Head to www.sevenautumnleaves.com to get Hadier's or Afaf's look.

Runaways

Lately I've been obsessed with sunglasses, and my new Le Specs Runaways black shades are the perfect addition to my vast growing collection. It reminds me a little of the Celine Audrey sunglasses and the fact that it’s black just makes it easier to match with almost anything I wear. When choosing sunglasses, I tend to always go straight for black without even giving it a second thought. But sunglassesshop.com carries a variety of brands, shapes and colours that would be more suitable for your style and taste. What I really like about this online store, is the fact that they can help you decide on which frames would suit you based on your hair and face shape!

Singapore video travel diary

So I've got some good news and some bad news. Good news is I just got a job in my field! (and a car in the same week, how grown up am I?) Bad news is, I continue my masters starting first week of March so I won't have time to update the blog 3 times a week like I used to. But this blog means so much to me that I don't want to completely neglect it so I will promise to update it once a week on Wednesday mornings, and occasionally on Sunday mornings.

Now onto the fun stuff! This is definitely my favourite video I've done so far because I truly enjoyed Singapore and I wanted to share it with you in a way that you couldn't see through photos, and partly because I have slowly gotten better at filming and editing these travel video diaries. That said, I welcome any constructive critisicm in order to improve my skills for the next one. I also switched from Youtube to Vimeo since the quality is MUCH better and you can see the video as I intended it to be seen and not a bad quality, grainy one.

Hope you enjoy it!

Singapore photo diary 2

I had way too many photos to share so I decided to have a second part so you get an insight to what I got up to a few days ago!
In this post you can see more of the infinity pool on top of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel as well as Haji Lane, filled with quirky little boutiques, and Chinatown, where I enjoyed a yummy Thai coconut. Then you can see more of the Marina Bay area which includes the Theatres on the bay, the Merlion and across the water you can see the Marina Bay Sands hotel and Art Science Museum, which is the shape of a lotus that lights up beautifully at night.

I'm also preparing a video diary, which I'm very excited to show you in the next post, so stay tuned!

Singapore photo diary 1

Looking through holiday photos truly does bring the post-holiday depression into play. Although, I can't really complain yet since reality only kicks in when I start school in about three weeks. Most of these photos are taken in Sentosa Island where we went off to discover the giant Merlion, the aquarium, the beaches and go on the cable car for a view from above. Back in the city, we were staying in the gorgeous Marina Bay Sands hotel so everything around it was just impeccably built (only in the past 2-3 years!) which included the amazing gardens by the bay, Art Science Museum  and the two glass pavilions in the water, the LV store and a club.

Infinity

The infinity pool in Marina Bay Sands hotel was probably one of my highlights in Singapore last week. Even though the city has so much to offer, there's something so magical about overlooking the city from the 57th floor while having a swim.

I wore the Gliadiator necklace to compliment my new geometric bathers I bought a few days before from Dubai.

Shihabi's in 7AL part 1

A couple of weeks ago, when I was still in Dubai, I met up with two of my gorgeous friends at DIFC to have a photoshoot wearing Seven Autumn Leaves necklaces.
Ofcourse their impeccable styling and pretty faces made it easy for me to capture some great shots that I'm really happy with.

In part 1, I show you how Afaf styled the Tri-Quadrilateral necklace and the Framed triangle ring with her effortless chic look.

Head to www.sevenautumnleaves.com to get Afaf's look and stay tuned to part 2 next week!
