For some reason I'm always drawn to outfits in black and white. Although colour is great, I just love the many different ways you can style black and white pieces together creating different looks.
This gorgeous black & white dress is from the LA store Sugarlips who have a great selection of trendy pieces at affordable prices. Sunday, 29 July 2012

Kings of Carnaby store launch
Last night I had the pleasure of attending the
new Kings of Carnaby store launch on Brunswick Street. It was a great event with
a fun and friendly atmosphere filled with some seriously trendy and fashionable
guests.
We were spoilt with mini delicious cupcakes from cupcake
central and some good ol’ cider from Rekorderlig; yum!
What used to be a guitar store was refurbished to this roomy
and light space filled with great womenswear and menswear garments. The
interior design of the store was very Melbourne. With the exposed brick walls
and recycled timber shelves, it conveys a very popular Melbourne trend in
retail and hospitality interiors; what I like to call ‘industrial chic’.
It was great seeing some familiar lovely people and meeting
some new ones as well, including Nick the co-founder of Kings of Carnaby.
Thanks to Couturing.com’s Lisa and Thom for inviting me to
be part of this fun night.
You can visit their new store at 338 Brunswick Street or
head to their Prahran store on 328 Chapel Street.

Shopping Sunday: Midi
Midi skirts and dresses are usually characterized by their length, ranging from just below the knee to mid-calf. This trend was very popular in the 1940s which represented the elegance and grace of that decade.
PS. A majority of them are offered in different colour varieties as well.

Generation
This is the story of my BCBGeneration heels:
Once upon a time I was journeying through LA and came across these beautiful shoes at my favourite American clothing company. I had decided on my trip NOT to buy shoes, but I couldn't resist them so I gave into temptation. But alas, they did not have my size in stock so the lady said she could order them in from another branch. Unfortunately, I was leaving to come back home the next day so I accepted defeat and left the store.
A few months pass, and as I was browsing through E-bay I spot my long lost loves! Without hesitation, I click on 'buy now' and here we are.
My shoes and I lived happily ever after.
THE END.

Dit oui au rouge
Feeling a little French today as you can tell from the title and the belt I'm wearing. If only I could be in France right now practicing my french, eating croissants and macarons, and enjoying summer instead of freezing here until uni starts up again in august.
Hope you're all keeping warm.
If you happen to live in the northern hemisphere: I'm jealous.
If you happen to live here but escaped to the northern hemisphere for vacation: I hate you.

Coral
Last Thursday, I met up with my uni friends at Long room to have some dinner and cocktails for my birthday. I had ordered a gold sequin dress and this body suit from Aqua, and it arrived on that day so I decided to wear it out that night. The colour is simply stunning and I can safely say I don't own anything in that form or colour.
